My Name is Jesse Ballesteros
I am 43 years young, I am married, going on 18 wonderful years, to the most amazing person I know, Shelley. I have 3 beautiful girls Ashley, Andrea (Pinki) and my baby Liberty (Libby). I have a 1 year old grandson named Ethan Andres. (He has my middle name).
I have been coaching girls fastpitch since I was a junior in high school. I have coached from the 6u level up to 18u level and all age levels in between. I played competitive softball for around 6 years and the majority of them were with my boys from Styxx! I never imagined that I would love the game of softball more than when I was playing until I started coaching girl’s fastpitch on a full time basis. I am currently coaching, at the 16u level, a team named "Big Shots". What a wonderful bunch of athletes and young ladies I am blessed with! My daughter Pinki plays on this team for us. Love you honey!
I have always said that you have to make it fun in order to be successful! I consider myself to be having the time of my life!! It is all about the girls and anyone who has veered from this train of thought or belief is doing this sport and the girls a grave injustice! It is one of the greatest feelings to have a girl you coached in years past come up and still call you coach and give you a hug that is filled with overwhelming love and respect!!
I have the great privilege of being appointed the AFA Director for Girls Fastpitch here in SNV. Thank you Ron and Peggy for your faith in me! We are not here to compete against ANY other organization or association but instead to try to work hand in hand to give the girls more opportunities to play the game they love!
