Rich has more than 20 years experience in baseball.  He has 3 brothers and is the oldest.  His father is Danny and his mother is Irene.  He is named after Richard Juarez, who saved his fathers life while they served in the Vietnam War.

Rich believes that he learned how to play competitve baseball, a work hard attitude, and good sportsmanship while playing baseball as a kid in Bloomington.

Rich's goals are to bring AFA Baseball umpiring to the Las Vegas Valley and is looking for veteran baseball umpires, as well as new baseball umpires!  If you are looking for a chalenging opportunity and have a great attitude please contact Rich.

Adult Baseball Tryouts

Vegas Valley Baseball - Adult

 

Vegas Valley Baseball will be holding an open tryout for the 2011 Spring season on Sunday, February 13th.

 

The tryout will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 p.m. at Rancho High School.

 

Interested baseball players 18 years of age or older are encouraged to attend.

Little League Umpires Available
I wanted to give you some information on the Umpire Association I'm with and
see if your league would be interested in our services.
I realize you may already be committed to another association for the spring.
Sanction fee $30 per team one time cost per year
Scheduling fee $5 per game
Tournament fee $5 per team per tournament
Jr. / Sr. games $40 per umpire per game 2 hour no new inning or 7
innings
Major / Minors $35 per umpire per game 1:45 no new inning or 6
innings
Rookies & below $30 per umpire per game 1:30 drop dead at 1:45 ( if you
use them for these levels)
If you want to add time to the games there will be an additional cost of $5 per
umpire.
Little League rules will be used of course. If there are rules you would to add
please do so, but I would need them 1 month before league starts so we can
study.
We are in the process of upgrading our web site, it should be ready by the

I would like to be considered for Spring/Fall season, but if you need umpires for tournaments or on call.
